Every year my dear sister sent any Christmas cards, but New Year cards. And again and again with wonderful quotes, poems, sayings ...
This year she has chosen this:
Take 12 months
brush them clean of Envy, bitterness, greed, and pedantry
dissect it in 30 or 31 parts,
enough so that the stock for a year.
each day is done separately from
1 part 2 parts and labor cheerfulness and humor. Man
add 3 heaped tablespoons of optimism
1 teaspoon tolerance,
a grain of irony and a pinch bar.
is then poured over the ground with lots of love.
The finished dish is adorned with bouquets of small attentions
and serve it every day with joy.
